Adrian Wojnarowski, famous for his WojBombs, has announced his retirement from ESPN. He will be transitioning to a new role as the general manager of the men’s basketball team at St. Bonaventure, his alma mater.

In a statement to ESPN, Wojnarowski expressed his excitement about returning to the university where he graduated in 1991. He mentioned his desire to serve the student-athletes, coaches, and institution, hoping to make a positive impact on their basketball program.

As the GM of the Bonnies, Wojnarowski will be responsible for various tasks including managing name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities, handling transfers, assisting in recruitment, and fostering relationships with players, families, and alumni.

Prior to his time at ESPN, Wojnarowski spent nearly a decade at Yahoo Sports, where he served as the editor of The Vertical. His move to St. Bonaventure marks a new chapter in his career, combining his passion for basketball with a leadership role in collegiate sports.

The St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team competes in the Atlantic-10 conference and has a strong track record in the NCAA Tournament. With Wojnarowski at the helm, the Bonnies are poised for continued success on and off the court.
