NEW YORK — On April 27, 2024 in Milwaukee, Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hit a home run. Despite being a routine play for Judge, this particular home run marked a turning point in his career. Although it was only his fifth home run of the season, it kickstarted a historic run for Judge.

Since that day in Milwaukee, Judge has played 162 regular-season games, putting up incredible offensive numbers. With a batting average of .369, on-base percentage of .494, and slugging percentage of .774, Judge has an OPS of 1.268 over his past 162 games, a feat only achieved by legends like Barry Bonds, Babe Ruth, and Ted Williams.

What Judge is achieving is truly generational, solidifying his place as one of the greatest hitters of all time. His consistency and excellence have elevated him to an all-time icon in baseball history.

Despite his remarkable performance, Judge remains focused on the process and staying grounded. He understands the importance of staying true to his abilities and maintaining confidence in his game.

While Judge’s incredible year may not have received the praise it deserves due to a disappointing postseason performance, his impact on the game is undeniable. Whether or not he achieves the ultimate goal of winning a 28th Yankees championship, Judge’s legacy as a dominant force in baseball will endure.
