Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton delivers jab at Magic’s expense in appearance on WWE’s NXT

It seems Tyrese Haliburton is not just a star on the basketball court, but also in the wrestling ring. During WWE’s NXT event, Haliburton took a playful jab at the Orlando Magic, much to the amusement of the crowd.

Appearing on NXT for a contract signing segment, Haliburton received a chorus of boos from the audience, to which he quipped, “I would boo too if I had to be an Orlando Magic fan.”

He also mentioned having his Pacers teammates, Myles Turner and James Johnson, in attendance.

This is not the first time Haliburton has dabbled in wrestling. Earlier in the year, he made an appearance on “Friday Night Smackdown” alongside Logan Paul, facing off against Jalen Brunson and LA Knight.

Looking ahead to the upcoming NBA season, the Magic and Pacers are set to clash on Oct. 28, and Haliburton’s antics in the wrestling world may add some extra spice to the matchup.

Despite the Magic having the upper hand in their previous encounters, Haliburton put up impressive numbers against them, averaging 20.3 points, 8.7 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in three games.
